Meet Rowan's Newest Flatter

Professor

Real People @ Rowan have a new team member, he is a pure bred cream burmese cat with a disability.

We thought it was a novel idea for a disability service to have a pet with a disability.  Professor only has three legs, however this does not deter him from being a true burmese cat, and he has quickly made his mark on Rowan. Where else would a disabled cat find a home where he has 30 odd servants who jump at his every whim, the choice of 20 warm beds on a cold night and lots of company 24 hours a day seven days a week.

Professor loves to cuddle and smooch and is very patient with the flatters who love him to bits.

Professor found his way to Rowan from the SPCA, where the Mosaic group volunteer as part of their community participation.  Petra, knowing that Ross was a sucker for burmese cats, could not wait to tell him the cat was there.  Ross raced off for a look and of course was smitten straight away.

Ross, already being the owner of two chocolate burmese, was given strict instructions from someone who shall remain nameless not to take the cat home so.....that is how the Professor came to live at Rowan.
